SyferLock Technology and the Cyber Warfare Forum Initiative
form Strategic Alliance...

September 4, 2009 Southport, CT - SyferLock Technology is proud to announce that the company has formed a strategic alliance with the Cyber Warfare Forum Initiative (CWFI), a collaboration portal whose mission is to promote Cyber Warfare awareness within the U.S Military, U.S Government, U.S private companies and U.S Citizens. The CWFI mission is extended to all U.S allies all over the world with the intent of guarding our cyber freedoms and protecting our way of life. CWFI promotes innovation, unity and collaboration of various cyber security communities of interest all over the world. The CWFI mission will be accomplished by active engagement of our team members in the fields of education (conferences and training), information sharing (forums, reports and news) and partnerships with the military, government and private sector. CWFI invites all to join their fight for a safer cyberspace where confidentiality, integrity and availability rest assured. Under one umbrella of collaboration and knowledge, the CWFI members can make a difference.

SyferLock identified that the CWFI's portal was engaging their members, and teams of their members, under this one umbrella and that information sharing was a key facet to their mission. SyferLock wanted to enhance the portal's authentication from a static password to a more secure one time password (OTP). The challenges for the CWFI portal were a geographically dispersed global membership, the possible need to login from different computers by individual members, and the fact that the CWFI portal is a not-for-profit organization with real budget constraints. Taking the business requirements into consideration, SyferLock has provided the CWFI portal with their GridOne™ enhanced authentication solution which allows the CWFI members to leverage and use their existing portal passwords, but have them input and transmitted as true OTPs delivering much greater end point security and accounts access for their worldwide member base. The GridOne™ system is completely deviceless for the OTP generation allowing an extremely cost effective security solution to be deployed, and the security UI's have been initially configured allowing for 10+ different languages for the CWFI membership to use. In addition, the GridOne™ solution is completely zero footprint (no need to download or install any additional software) allowing the members to be afforded the same security from any machine they use to login to the CWFI portal.

"The CWFI portal's mission and values are completely inline with SyferLock's mission to help create a safer cyberspace where confidentiality, integrity and availability are rest assured" says Paul Sitar, CEO of SyferLock Technology. "Understanding how the portal wanted to grow and what some of the challenges would be in providing a more secure place to meet for the CWFI members, SyferLock was eager to deploy the GridOne™ portal solution to help them." Sitar further adds, "SyferLock views the CWFI as a critical tool in creating a more secure cyberspace, and not only to do I believe in what the CWFI is doing as an officer of SyferLock, but as an individual who co-owns www.cyberterrorism.com. I applaud the CWFI and will continue to support them in any way that I can."

Lastly, both the CWFI and SyferLock would like to thank both GoDaddy.com and Central Desktop for working very closely with our organizations to get the portal and infrastructure in place for the strategic alliance to happen.
